Deputy Brendan Ryan asked the Minister for Education and Skills further to Parliamentary Question No. 216 of 5 February 2019, if approval has issued for the provision of additional mainstream and specialist accommodation for the school; the details of the accommodation approved; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I can confirm to the Deputy that my Department is currently assessing the application for capital funding, under the Additional School Accommodation Scheme, from the school in question.   In this regard, a decision will be relayed to the school authority shortly.
