597. Deputy Charlie McConalogue asked the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection when arrears will issue to a person (details supplied) for an invalidity pension application; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [50307/19]
View answerThe lady referred to has been awarded invalidity pension with effect from 07 February 2019. First payment issued to her nominated bank account on 21 November 2019. Arrears due from 07 February 2019 to 20 November 2019, less any overlapping social welfare payment will issue to her nominated bank account on 05 December 2019.
I hope this clarifies the matter for the Deputy.
