View answerThe Tusla Education Support Service (TESS) has provided the table attached below identifying a number of Educational Welfare Officer Posts that are open. Tusla has advised that it continues to work towards its target of having all 98 EWO posts filled and I have secured an additional €500,000 in Budget 2019 and €400,000 in Budget 2020 to assist with TESS's work towards this goal.
