416. Deputy Fergus O'Dowd asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if Dunleer railway station will be reopened in view of the significant population growth in mid-County Louth; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [53881/19]
View answerAs Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding of public transport. The maintenance, renewal and operation of the rail network and stations on the network including the former station referred to, is a matter for Iarnród Éireann in the first instance.
