224. Deputy Marc MacSharry asked the Minister for Education and Skills when approval will issue to the board of management of a school (details supplied) in County Sligo to proceed with its school building project, in view of the fact that it has completed stages 1 to 3 of the project stages and has submitted all technical reports to his Department with costings; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I wish to inform the Deputy that there were a number of issues with the final stages of the tender process in respect of the projects in question including issues with the documentation provided to my Department by the school authority. These matters have now been addressed and the school authority has been given approval to proceed to construction in that context.
