1010. Deputy John Brady asked the Minister for Health the number of nursing homes closed from January 2020 to date pursuant to section 64 of the Heath Act 2007, by county; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [14706/20]
View answerSection 64 of the Health Act 2007 (as amended) requires the HSE to make alternative arrangements for residents in a nursing home where the registration has been cancelled under section 59. To date in 2020, one nursing home (located in Wicklow) has closed under section 59.
