View answerThe CAO process applications for undergraduate courses on behalf of the Higher Education Institutions. Decisions on admissions are made by the HEIs who then instruct the CAO to make offers to successful candidates. As such, neither I nor my Department have a role in the operation of the CAO, and it is not with my remit to issue direction to the CAO with regard to any application.
I understand, based on the information available to me, that the deadline for applicants to change a preference was the close of the Change of Mind facility at the beginning of July and no changes are possible after that date.
CAO applicants who have not received an offer they wish to take up may wish to look the Available Places facility, which allows for application to courses that have unfilled places remaining.
