171. Deputy Brendan Griffin asked the Minister for Social Protection if a community employment scheme will be extended for a person (details supplied); and if she will make a statement on the matter. [26062/20]
View answerI understand that the person concerned had completed 3 years on Community Employment in September 2019, and in view of her particular circumstances was permitted, exceptionally at that time, to continue for a further year.
In order to be eligible again for Community Employment, she will again need to be in a receipt of a qualifying payment for twelve months. She can then apply for appropriate vacancies.
I trust this clarifies the position for the Deputy.
