Deputy Pádraig Mac Lochlainn asked the Minister for Health if patients being treated at Letterkenny University Hospital for a period of two weeks initially tested negative for Covid-19 in mid-October 2020 and two weeks later tested positive; the course of action that was taken to contact and trace the way in which the patients contracted the virus; and if patients being treated for other illnesses found themselves in the same spaces as those being treated for Covid-19.
