Deputy Sean Sherlock asked the Minister for Justice the third-party contracts entered into by agencies under the remit of her Department for the operation of community and voluntary organisations; the number of staff employed by the third party; and the cost of the contract in 2019 and 2020. Having sought confirmation from agencies under the remit of my Department, I am informed that the following agencies have not entered into third-party contracts of this nature, for the operation of community and voluntary organisations, in 2019 or 2020: 

The Courts Service

The Criminal Assets Bureau

The Criminal Injuries Compensation Tribunal

The Data Protection Commission

Forensic Science Ireland

The Garda Inspectorate

Garda Síochána Ombudsman Commission 

The Insolvency Service of Ireland

The Irish Film Classification Office

The Judicial Council

The Legal Aid Board

The Legal Services Regulatory Authority

The Office of the Inspector of Prisons

The Office of the State Pathologist

The Parole Board

The Policing Authority

The Private Security Authority

The Property Services Regulatory Authority

Information has also been sought from an Garda Síochána, the Irish Prison Service and the Probation Service. I will write directly to the Deputy with information relating to these agencies when received, in line with standing orders.
