Deputy Rose Conway-Walsh asked the Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science the number of registered employers in the apprenticeship programme; the number of active employers in the programme; the number of apprenticeship participants by type and county in each of the years 2017 to 2019, inclusive; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The apprentice register does not hold a record of the information requested in a readily accessible form. A review of the registered apprentices and employers for that time period is being undertaken and the information will be forwarded to the Deputy once available.
