View answerBeginning in November 2020, persons identifying as essential travellers within the definitions of EU Council Recommendation 2020/1475 were not subject to advisory restricted movement or to follow up phone calls through the COVID-19 Passenger Locator Form. However, the introduction of regulations on 6th February 2021 set out exemptions from mandatory quarantine for arriving passengers. Therefore, the previous declarations as to whether the passenger's travel was essential was no longer applicable.
