Deputy John Lahart asked the Minister for Health the status of the reimbursement of CAR T-cell therapy by the HSE; the reason for the delay regarding a decision on the reimbursement of same; if he is considering plans for the development of facilities to allow for the availability of CAR T-cell therapy in Ireland; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Under the Health (Pricing and Supply of Medical Goods) Act 2013, the HSE has statutory responsibility for the administration of the community drug schemes; therefore, the matter has been referred to the HSE for attention and direct reply to the Deputy.
