421. Deputy Ged Nash asked the Minister for Transport the potential costs to the Exchequer associated with the expansion of the bike sharing schemes outside of Dublin, Galway, Limerick and Cork cities; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [20251/21]
View answerAs Minister for Transport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding in relation to cycling and public transport infrastructure. The management of bike sharing schemes is a matter for the National Transport Authority (NTA), which works closely with the relevant local authorities.
