View answerMy Department takes the security of it’s Information Technology and email systems very seriously. Disclosing any information about the security posture of the Department may only attract the attention of nefarious players in the market. For that reason, it would not be appropriate for me to disclose information which might inadvertently assist criminals to identify potential vulnerabilities in departmental Cybersecurity arrangements. I will not comment on operational security matters but I can confirm that our technical staff continue to operate and monitor all relevant systems to the highest levels, and are closely engaged with experts in the OGCIO and the NCSC to ensure that we follow best practice as it relates to all aspects of Cybersecurity.
