View answerMy Department publishes a detailed monthly report on homelessness, based on data provided by housing authorities. The Report outlines details of individuals utilising State-funded emergency accommodation arrangements that are overseen by housing authorities. The more recent reports from January 2020 to date are also published on the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform's open data portal at: data.gov.ie/
Reporting on homelessness began in its current format with the introduction of the Pathway Accommodation & Support System (PASS) in 2014. My Department does not hold the details sought by the Deputy prior to this date.
