Deputy Michael Fitzmaurice asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine when his Department will release the file requested by the agriculture appeals office for a person (details supplied) who has an appeal submitted since 25 February 2019; the cause of the delay in having this file released to the appeals office; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The file in question will be forwarded to the Agriculture Appeals Office (AAO) in the coming days. The Deputy can be assured that staff of the Department with responsibility for the file will engage with the AAO on this matter until it is concluded.
