176. Deputy Matt Carthy asked the Minister for Finance the number of farmers who claimed €70,000 in young farmer reliefs in each of the years 2016 to 2020 and to date in 2021, in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [48055/21]
View answerI am advised by Revenue that due to the very small number of taxpayers meeting the criteria outlined in any year for which data are available, and its obligations to maintain taxpayer confidentiality at all times, it is not possible to disclose the exact number of taxpayers in this category.
