296. Deputy Cormac Devlin asked the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage the allocations made to the four Dublin local authorities to fund the housing adaptation grant for older people and people with a disability scheme, and the mobility aids grant scheme, in each of the years 2016 to 2020, in tabular form; the allocation of same for 2021; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Funding of €75 million is available nationally in 2021 for the Housing Adaptation Grants for Older People and People with a Disability scheme, in respect of private houses. Local authorities fund 20% of the overall budget from their own resources with the balance of 80% funded by the exchequer. Details of the allocations and drawdowns for all local authorities up to 2021, are available on my Department's website at the following link:
