Deputy Holly Cairns asked the Minister for Social Protection the number of State boards under the remit of her Department or its agencies in tabular form; the number of members of each board; the number of women on each board; and the percentage of each board that is made up of women. There are four (4) statutory bodies operating under the aegis of my Department: the Citizens Information Board, the Pensions Authority, the Pensions Council and the Social Welfare Tribunal. Details in relation to the total membership and gender balance of each of these is set out in tabular format below:
