Deputy Marian Harkin asked the Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications further to Parliamentary Question Nos. 39 and 49 of 4 November 2021, the timeline for a decision on the granting of prospecting licences in north County Leitrim following the closing date for submissions on 7 November 2021. View answerMy Department has received a large number of submissions in relation to the prospecting licence applications referred to. All valid submissions are now being examined in detail by the Department. I expect to receive a report on these submissions by the end of the year which I will then consider as part of the final decision-making process.
