425. Deputy Matt Carthy asked the Minister for Social Protection the number of dairy farmers in receipt of farm assist by county; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [61909/21]
View answerFarm Assist is a means-tested payment for low-income farmers under the Jobseeker's Allowance Scheme. Recipient details by county are set out in the table below. I am advised that my Department does not hold information of the type of farming recipients engage in; accordingly the below refers to all recipients of Farm Assist.
