191. Deputy Brendan Griffin asked the Minister for Transport if consideration has been given to options to reduce journey times between railway stations (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [9630/22]
View answerAs Minister of Transport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding of public transport. The operation, maintenance and renewal of the rail network and stations on the network including the station referred to at Killarney, Co Kerry, is a matter for Iarnród Éireann in the first instance.
