View answerWith regard to the specific application about which the Deputy has enquired, the Passport Service contacted the applicant on 4 March 2022 to provide an update as to the status of the application. The passport application is being processed in line with current processing times. The current processing time for fully complete first time applications is 40 working days. Processing time begins from when the Passport Service receives the required supporting documentation for the application. The supporting documents for this application were received on 15 February 2022.
