1085. Deputy Eoin Ó Broin asked the Minister for Health the reason that persons are unable to obtain a Covid-19 recovery certificate based on a positive antigen test unless the test has been obtained and paid for privately. [15018/22]

The EU Digital COVID Certificate Regulation (2021 / 953) details the scope and parameters for the issuing, authentication, and validity of certificates.

Under the EU Regulation, DCC recovery certs can not be issued based on self-administered antigen test results.
