23. Deputy Peter Burke asked the Minister for Transport if a medical report is valid for five years, the reason this cannot be accepted by the National Driver Licence Service when applying for a licence, when it advises it must be within three months (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. This is a matter for the Road Safety Authority. I have referred the question to the Authority for direct reply. I would ask the Deputy to contact my office if a response is not received within 10 days.
