Deputy Carol Nolan asked the Minister for Rural and Community Development the number of persons employed by her Department and bodies under the aegis of her Department with a rate of pay below the living wage of €12.30; the role that those persons occupy within her Department or relevant body; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The Department of Rural and Community Development was established on 19th July 2017 to provide a renewed and consolidated focus on rural and community development in Ireland.

I can confirm that no persons employed by my Department or bodies under the aegis of my Department have a rate of pay below the living wage of €12.30.
