Deputy Michael Ring asked the Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications the reason that officials from his Department will not meet a person (details supplied) in County Mayo despite numerous requests in view of the fact that this person has stated that they have a viable solution to a climate issue. View answerThe issues raised in the correspondence referred to in the Question relate to a proposed innovation in fuel or a fuel additive. Policy in relation to transport fuel and fuel additives are matters for officials in the Department of Transport. As I am also Minister for that Department, I will ensure that the relevant officials are made aware of the correspondence and respond directly.
