View answerThe Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine inspects and approves vehicles and vessels involved in the transport of live animals, in compliance with relevant regulations. The table below provides detail of such vessels involved in the live export of animals.
Capacity data is indicated, where available. For dedicated vessels, capacity for a maximum number of animals is not recorded as a condition of approval, and is instead calculated based on space, species, and age of animals carried.
