Deputy Joe O'Brien asked the Minister for Education the plans her Department has to facilitate improved walking and cycling access to schools (details supplied) from Waterside along the reservation indicated in the Greater Dublin Area Cycle Network Plan; and if she will make a statement on the matter. It is my Department's intention to engage with the local authority as part of the overall plan to develop Department owned lands that adjoin the area in question.
