Deputy Matt Carthy asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine further to Parliamentary Question No. 319 of 20 January 2022, if the report on the development of a domestic woollen industry has been published; the reason for any delay; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Agile Executive group, a consortium made up of experts from Munster Technological University and Donegal Yarns, who were appointed to carry out the wool review have now competed this review and have presented their final report to my Department.

This report will be published very shortly.
