Deputy Pauline Tully asked the Minister for Transport if he will report on the expressway bus service from Donegal to Dublin, route 30/X30; if it is necessary to book this service in advance; the number of times the service has not turned up at Cavan bus station; the number of times the service has arrived late at Cavan bus station; and if he will make a statement on the matter. View answerAs Minister for Transport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding in relation to public transport; however, I am not involved in the day-to-day operations of public transport. Further, Bus Éireann's Expressway services, including routes 30 and X30, are commercial bus services and as such responsibility for the operation of those services is a matter for the company. I have, therefore, referred the Deputy's question to Bus Éireann for direct reply. Please advise my private office if you do not receive a reply within ten working days.
