Questions (95)

Aodhán Ó Ríordáin

Question:

95. Deputy Aodhán Ó Ríordáin asked the Minister for Education if she will recognise that the stipulations for deferred examination requiring that a parent or guardian needs to sign a request for a deferred sitting on the day of the examination and that a medical report signed by a consultant needs to be uploaded within four days are not always practical in a life-threatening emergency and need to be reviewed; and if she will contact the State Examinations Commission to make it aware of the issue.
