213. Deputy Carol Nolan asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment if his Department and bodies under the aegis of his Department have engaged the services of two organisations (details supplied) at any point from 1 January 2020 to date; the costs associated with or incurred by the provision of services from these organisations; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department has engaged the services of Carr Communications on several occasions during the period in question. Records indicate that, during the period from 1 January 2020 to date, my Department has paid Carr Communications a total of €19,500 for the provision of a suite of preparatory training courses, including job application and interview skills training courses.

My Department also paid a further sum of €10,985 to Carr Communications for the provision of various training courses undertaken by employees via the centralised “OneLearning” Civil Service learning and development platform during the period in question.

My Department has not engaged the services of Kinzen during the period in question.
