Deputy Carol Nolan asked the Minister for Defence if his Department and bodies under the aegis of his Department have engaged the services of two organisations (details supplied) at any point from 1 January 2020 to date; the costs associated with or incurred by the provision of services from these organisations; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department, in line with other Government Departments, provides learning and development opportunities for all its employees. The Department works with its learning and development business partner ‘OneLearning’, part of the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform, which provides a number of centralised learning opportunities for the employees in the wider Civil and Public Service.

My Department has worked in partnership with the second company the Deputy has referenced for the provision of training in the following areas:
