334. Deputy James Browne asked the Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media the position regarding the provision of funding for supporting the 225th commemorations of the 1798 Rebellion in 2023; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [38825/22]
View answerMy Department has responsibility for co-ordinating the Decade of Centenaries Programme 2012-2023 and has no current plans to mark this anniversary. However if the Deputy is aware of any specific proposals in this regard, I would be happy to give these due consideration in the context of my Department’s support for commemorative activities.
