564. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Social Protection the correct level of social welfare payment in the case of a person (details supplied); and if she will make a statement on the matter. [39324/22]
View answerThe person concerned is in receipt of state pension non-contributory at the maximum weekly payment rate, since 16 October 2015. The person is also in receipt of fuel allowance, payable during the winter season.
Application forms for additional Increase for Living Alone payment and the Household Benefits Package payment have issued to the person concerned. The person has been advised to return the competed forms to my Department's Sligo office if they wished to apply for these additional payments. If applications are received, the person's entitlement will be examined and they will be notified in writing of the outcome.
