I propose to take Questions Nos. 1026 and 1027 together.

In my capacity as Minister for Defence I was presented with a wooden plaque whilst in Lebanon from that country's Minister of National Defence. This gift remains in my department's headquarters in Newbridge, Co. Kildare. I am unable to ascertain the value.

In my capacity as Minister for Defence I have not given any gifts to dignitaries visiting from abroad, nor has my Department.

Question No. 1027 answered with Question No. 1026.
