Deputy Paul Murphy asked the Minister for Health the reason that 35 children were not covered in the original deal made with a drug company (details supplied) in relation to the drug kaftrio and an issue which arose between the company and the HSE; and if the HSE will prioritise negotiations with the company to find a solution to ensure that these 35 children and any others in the same situation have the access that they need to this potentially life-changing medication as soon as possible.
