Deputy Jennifer Whitmore asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine if any State or semi-State bodies that report to him have accessed double funding from the European Commission for the same purpose; the reason for the double funding; and the funding that this applied to; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Regarding the 12 State Bodies under the aegis of my Department, the information requested is an operational matter for the State Bodies themselves. I have referred this query to the State Bodies under the aegis of my Department and have asked that they respond to the Deputy and to my Department directly on the matter.
