302. Deputy Paul Murphy asked the Minister for Transport if he will estimate the cost of purchasing 500 electric buses and increasing the number of drivers and ancillary staff employed by Bus Éireann and Dublin Bus needed to utilise them; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [41616/22]
View answerAs Minister for Transport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding in relation to public transport. The National Transport Authority (NTA) has responsibility for the planning and development of public transport infrastructure, including the procurement of the PSO bus fleet.
