Deputy Louise O'Reilly asked the Minister for Finance the estimated first and full-year revenue that would be raised in taxes by increasing the national minimum wage for those aged under 18, aged 18 and 19 years to €10.50 in line with the rest of the workforce; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I am advised by Revenue that they are unable to calculate the revenue effects sought by the Deputy, as they do not hold the necessary information in relating to hours worked by any particular age cohort.
