Deputy Paul Murphy asked the Minister for Finance if he will provide a breakdown of the amount of residential rental profits and income from residential rents for each of the past five years and to date in 2022; if he will provide the same information specifically for corporate residential rental profits and incomes; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I am advised by Revenue that the figures requested by the Deputy are set out in the tables below. In relation to Form 11 tax returns, the following table sets out the gross income and taxable income, net of deductible expenses, recorded in relation to residential properties in the years 2016, the first year for which residential and commercial properties were recorded separately, up to 2019, the latest year for which data are currently available.
