View answerTG4 is largely funded from the Exchequer with some commercial income. In 2022 I secured the largest ever annual increase in Exchequer funding to TG4 of €4.2m, to bring the allocation for this year to €44.933m, comprised of €40.733m current and €4.2m capital.

As the Deputy is aware, increases in provision are dependent on the resources available to the Department. Any increased funding in 2023 will be determined in the forthcoming Estimates process.
