592. Deputy Aengus Ó Snodaigh asked the Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media if she will provide a breakdown of the expenditure on boards of public bodies under the remit of her Department’s culture division by body in tabular form. [41312/22]
View answerOf the State Bodies under the aegis of my Department in the Culture area, the members of the Arts Council are remunerated. Information on their fees is available on the Arts Council website at this link www.artscouncil.ie/About/Who-we-are/. It is reproduced here for ease of reference. The Chair of the Arts Council is entitled to an annual fee of €8,978 and ordinary members are entitled to a fee of €5,985 though some members choose to waive this fee. Details of all fees and expenses received by members of the Arts Council are published annually in the Annual Report which is also available on the Council's website at www.artscouncil.ie/publications/?&Category=Annual%20reports
