Deputy Steven Matthews asked the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage if his attention has been drawn to a letter sent to his office by Clare County Council in relation to income thresholds for housing supports; if a reply is forthcoming to the correspondence; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Correspondence regarding social housing income eligibility thresholds for County Clare was received from Clare County Council on 12 July 2022. A reply is due to issue this week.

In the meantime, I refer to the reply to Question No. 6 of 23 June 2022 which sets out the position in the matter.
