378. Deputy Brendan Griffin asked the Minister for Social Protection when the State pension (contributory) arrears will issue to a person (details supplied) in County Kerry following a successful backdating appeal; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [45789/22]
View answerThe pension rate of the person concerned was reviewed. An increase in the rate of payment was awarded and backdated to their 66th birthday. The person concerned was notified of this decision in writing. The higher rate of payment and arrears due will be paid on Friday 23 September 2022.
