Deputy Joe Carey asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine if the pension rate for former Coillte employees will be adjusted upwards and linked to current employee salary agreements (details supplied) after the recent public sector pay talks; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine

Coillte is a private limited company established under the Forestry Act 1988 and is operationally independent from the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine. I have, therefore, referred the matter to Coillte for direct follow-up with the Deputy.
