View answerThe PBSA bed-space projections in the National Student Accommodation Strategy considered the plans of higher education institutions, and planning permission applications from private sector developers. At the time the strategy was developed, the Department understands that there were no planning permission applications from private sector developers in Waterford, and no plans of the then Waterford Institute of Technology.
