Primary Care Centres are an essential part of our Government’s significant investment in the delivery of high quality, integrated care to people in their own communities.

The Minister assumed office on 27 June 2020 upon formation of the current Government. There were 132 Primary Care Centres operational nationally at the end of Q2 2020 (30 June 2020). There are currently 160 Primary Care Centres operational nationwide. In total, 28 Primary Care Centres have become operational since end-June 2020. There are a further 19 currently in construction.
